The imaginative 6 course candlelit dinner on the terrace, with the stunning view of the setting sun over the Aegean sea is the highlight of the day. Turkish cuisine is one of the three most renowned cuisines throughout the world, and "The Watermill" presents it in the best tradition. One night each week is reserved for a special fish evening and special vegetarian courses form an important part of every dinner. Accompanied by local wines from a well stocked cellar, every meal is a miniature feast.
As regards food and drink, our maxim is: it should be delicious and healthy.
We ensure that the origin and quality of the foodstuffs we use in our meals are first class.
A lot of our fresh fruit and vegetables come from our own garden, and herbs, virgin olive oil and pine honey are supplied by local farmers. We also bake our own bread with freshly ground flour.
For breakfast, we serve muesli with cereals and fresh fruits of the season, homemade wholemeal bread, yoghurt and honey, as well as a Turkish breakfast with cheese, tomatoes and olives.
We prepare our delicious Turkish specialities according to the principles of wholefood cooking.
